He is a tenured, successful executive search professional with long-term, core expertise in client management, recruiting, and recruiting team leadership. His expertise has been managing clients on high-profile executive searches. During his career, Mitch has worked in more than a dozen industry areas. His portfolio of assignments includes placing finance and accounting professionals and high-level individuals in professional services, management consulting, and financial services.
Mitch has placed highly visible executives and senior level managers consistently throughout his career. His strengths are in building rapport with industry superstars, as well as gaining a deep understanding of his clients in order to find the best functional and cultural fit for their respective organizations. At Koltin Consulting Group, Mitch recruits in tax, audit, business advisory and internal operations. He works diligently to help public accounting firms and other professional services firms attract and retain the talent needed to compete in a highly competitive marketplace. He previously worked at RSMR, Inc., as a company principal, managing portfolio relationships with some of the company's larger clients for whom he managed the full life cycle process on executive and senior management search assignments. For eleven years, Mitch managed relationships with middle market companies, start-ups, multi-billion dollar organizations, and companies integrating via mergers and acquisitions. He specialized in recruiting top flight talent for companies including CEO's, COO's, and other C-suite executives, as well as Vice Presidents and Directors. He served in multiple capacities including senior recruiter, recruiting team leader, and Director of Operations. Mitch began his career with Morganworks.com, whose core industry areas included accounting and financial services, serving as the lead for multiple client relationships.
A life-long Chicago resident, Mitch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in French from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he graduated with departmental honors in History. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with distinction. His interests include spending time with his two sons and playing basketball.
